I like your chain-link poem very much: one beautiful thought leads to another until the last link leads us right back to the mail person with her endearing smile. Well done, Mary Ann!

    • Lieber Arno,
      Deine Mary Ann

      Dear Arno,
Trying different forms of poetry is an interesting task. I like simple and free-flowing verse. The end result of my efforts amuses me too. The minute things in everyday life are intriguing to set to poetry. At some point, I tell myself that this is the end product of my efforts. You are so kind and thoughtful about my literary efforts, and I am truly appreciative. It is well with my soul as I smile upon the finished product. I wish the best for you and your loved ones. Greetings from across the pond.
      Enjoy the weekend,
      Mary Ann
