With a joyful heart today, I rejoice in love, family, friends, music and the little things of life which hold great meaning:
-family time at the spa in Skaneateles followed by a tasty luncheon
-friends both old and new are treasures to delight in
-learning and rehearsing new music
-discovering new friends in music groups
-meals at local restaurants
-hugs, kisses, conversations
-a shared faith which is openly practiced
-lending an ear to a friend in need
-rejoicing in the triumphs of others
-laughter and connecting with others
What are you grateful for in life? Take a moment to reflect and connect with someone. Smile and speak some kind words to that person. It is our shared humanity which is important.
So much joy in the sparkling eyes of your family!

That was a lovely reminder to be thankful. We had a wonderful visit with our NY friends, and now John is on the way home with grandson David. David will be with us almost a week and a half for Spring break. There are a hundred little things to be thankful for in those sentences.

We are still in the luxury of visits. I’ve been texting with our friend who was just here, and grandson David will be here tonight. Whee!!!

Beautiful heartwarming post, Mary Ann … you all look so close and loving. Yes, so much to rejoice and be happy with in everyday! Being with family and friends is up there at the top! 😀❤️ Hope all went well at the concert and you had a wonderful time. Xxxx

Thank you for the kind words in your comment. Concert is March 17 so we are still in rehearsal. Next one is March 30 and then two in April. These are three different groups. I love all the music and have to try to write and do my social media in between these days. It will slow down my mid-June when I take a break. Family visits are always special times for us. Hope all went well with the school presentation. Keep me posted, please. Enjoy the week. 🙂

The school visit was delayed as all the schools have been closed because of the weather – hopefully taking place this week! Many thanks for asking! Wishing you a lovely week too and happy rehearsing!

Now you will have the perfect presentation. You also had bad weather??? We are still in for more snow here. About 125″ thus far this winter. Haha. Love singing!

Blimey … the snow was fleeting here in the UK but extreme for a week – I wrote a post about it with beautiful photos of the snow landscape – a rare sight indeed! Heavenly! Although total chaos as well…making sure all is ready for the visit. Can’t wait to see their reaction to the pens!

I will have to take a look. So busy with our daughter’s visit. Should get back to normal now. The new normal! Hahaha. Yes, the pens will make a lovely poem too.

Normal?! I decided such a thing doesn’t exist…😃 Many thanks for your lovely comment.

When something occurs out of the ordinary, I refer to life as the “new normal.” You are correct however. I don’t think normal exists much anymore.

Bonjour ou bonsoir BELLE FAMILLE
Je passe avec un cocktail d’amitié
Pour que l’on puisse trinquer ensemble
Avec un velouté de bonne santé
Que l’on puisse le partager
Ainsi qu’une poêlée de gentillesse
Avec beaucoup de tendresse
Pourquoi pas pour accompagnement
Un plateau de douceur en chocolat
Pour adoucir ta soirée ou ta journée
Belle journée ou fin de journée
Bisous Bernard
