I Love the Four Seasons

Woke up to snow and

cold winds this morning.

On our journey to a

wedding in West Virginia.

I love the four seasons

in Upstate New York and

in Massachusetts.

Building snowmen.

As a child, winter

held magic for our

wooden sleds as

we steered downhill.

Bundled in our dark

green snowsuits, we often

built many snowmen in

our Sturbridge yard.

    • Thanks, Arno. It’s always nice to hear from you with such kind words and comments. We had a wedding to attend and just returned last night. Snow again a bit this morning. Enjoy your pre-Advent season as well. Thanks again, Mary Ann 🙂

Snow!? Already? Ahh..it looks so pristine and crisp. A lovely poem, capturing precious childhood memories of sledging and snowman building. Wishing you a wonderful time at the wedding. Happy Weekend, Mary Ann! 😃

  3. I can’t hear ‘four seasons’ without thinking of Vivaldi’s extraordinary four violin concertos. But I digress-enjoy your wedding!

    • I love your digression, Jacqui. On the journey to the wedding, we discussed the blog title and wondered if that is the name of a hotel and restaurant. Oh, well. All are good. It was a beautiful wedding and family reunion. I posted photos on FB and Twitter.
